A memorial was held for the 87 victims of the Happy Land Social Club Fire on March
25. The Memorial Monument, on Southern Boulevard and East Tremont Avenue, was
open on the 32nd anniversary for community members near and far to show their respects
for the lives lost on March 25, 1990, by an act of arson.
