The month of November marks both a change in weather
and a shift in mood, as thankfulness begins to enter
people’s thoughts and conversations. We asked our
readers to tag us (@boromagazine) in their Instagram
pictures from Astoria, Long Island City and Sunnyside
that showcased what they are most grateful for, from
family and pets to good food. Submissions included a photo
from an Oktoberfest party at Trestle Astoria, a wedding
anniversary throwback, a celebratory post for the new full-time
salon manager at Disco Paws, and a tasty fall treat — all great
reasons to be thankful!
