Aviation companies meet to
compete for top grads

Vaughn College has grown steadily
for twenty years into a top ranked college
for graduating students who are
interested in an aviation career.
President Sharon Devivo loves to
share the good new that they are in
the top of colleges that place a high
number of students with an excellent
paying job with great future prospects.
Many of the LaGuardia and JFK
airports draw talent from Vaughn so
you will find students working hard
to stand out to recruiters at their career
fair days.
Asked about the culture at Vaughn
,Assistant VP Career Services Phil
Meade explains that students are well
attended to and given a lot of exposure
to companies looking for good
students. He says they hold numerous
fairs and work with the Council of Opportunity
as well which specializing
in recruiting for the NY area airports.
Top talent is not restricted to the
students. The staff is comprised of a
mix of well experienced industry executives,
pilots, as well as younger
professional faculty which all adds to
the innovative cultural mix of this institution.
You will find the faculty at various
competing events as in robotics in
which Vaughn ranks near the top nationally
in its class. They can be found
at student conferences, career fairs,
aviation events, and interacting with
students throughout the course of the
day working with students in helping
them achieve their dreams. In the
competitive environment in today’s
world, Vaughn fast tracks its students
for success.
