The economic, health and emotional toll
for the Covid-19 virus is great on all our
community, family and friends.
Not in our memories has a plague of this
type descended on us and the rest of the
world.
We all have family, friends or business
associates that have succumbed to this
viscous illness randomly disrupting our
lives and leaving our short-term future in
uncertainty.
The governments, organizations, and
persons are coming together daily to assist
in whatever way they can to bring needed
supplies, health assistance, emotional support
and information to their local communities.
It is overwhelming to see the social
responsibility and relief that
Is being shared across the board.

The proposed COVID-19 “Heroes Fund”
Consists Of Two Major Components—A
$25,000 Premium Pay Increase For Essential
Workers + A $15,000 Essential Worker
Recruitment Incentive To Attract And Secure
Workforce Needed To Fight Public
Health Crisis.
They say that the essential frontline
workers are the true heroes of the COVID
19 pandemic response in America.
Senate Democrats believe in providing
premium pay to frontline workers during
this pandemic not only to reward essential
workers’ for their great personal
sacrifi ces, but also to ensure the retention
of essential workers who are working grueling
hours on the frontlines of this crisis
as well as the recruitment of additional
workers who will be needed in the months
ahead.
Face Masks Mandatory per Port
Authority
As of 8pm Aril 15, all essential workers at the
airports coming face-to-face with other must
wear a protective facemask.
Meetings are now Virtual
Port Authority and all airport organizations
are not holding public meetings.

LaGuardia Airport Updates
-Marine Air Terminal A is closed until June
2020. All JetBlue fl ights are now out of JFK and
EWR. General aviation remains open.
-LGA contractors eligible for $5 a day parking
at lots. They must contact their department to
register their vehicles for the discount.
-Employees parking privileges expanded to all
parking lots, which are closer to the terminals.
-Head house and taxiways construction is advancing
