HNA undergoes bankruptcy
HNA Group will undergo a business
reorganization after creditors
fi led for its bankruptcy.
One of China’s largest conglomerates
with interests mainly in the
aviation and tourism sectors, disclose
that it received formal notice
of the fi ling from the Hainan High
People’s Court on January 29.
Creditors have “fi led an application
for the initiation of reorganization
procedures against our company,
on grounds that we cannot
pay off due debts”, HNA Group disclosed.
It added that it will comply
with legal instructions and “promote
debt disposition actively”,
while ensuring that it’s businesses
will continue to operate.
Gu Gang, chairman of Hainan
Development Holdings, the government’s
investment arm, was leading
a joint working group to address
the fi rm’s liquidity risks, as
its airlines reeled from the collapse
in travel demand.

was once again nominated by USA TODAY
as one of the Top 10 Small Airports
in the United States! If you have
fl own out of ISP, you already know that
we provide our passengers an effi cient,
clean, and superior customer experience.
MacArthur not only serves the
3 million residents of Long Island, but
we’re also a great alternative to New
York City airports. We’re currently
in 4th place, but that’s just not good
enough for us. With your help we await
for the votes to come in and hope we
win the contest for best airport.
2020 represented the largest ever
challenge in the history of aviation.
Despite these signifi cant challenges,
MacArthur immediately prioritized
health and safety concerns with hightechnology
air purifi cation systems,
and prepared for the future with an
unparalleled commitment to its infrastructure,
customer development, and
overall improvements.

Long Island withstand, recover, and
rebuild from the devastating effects

installing an innovative 24/7
pathogen reduction system, making
COVID testing signups easy at the
airport, adding antimicrobial fi lms
to high touch areas, and more,” she
