Town Hall. Rosnes has toured
with all of the greats in the
music industry. This list
includes James Moody, Joe
Henderson, Wayne Shorter, JJ
Johnson, Bobby Hutcherson,
the SFJAZZ Collective and
pianist Bill Charlap. During
this performance she will
bring her quartet, who each
offer something unique to
the band’s performance.
Rosnes will play with Peter
Washington, Steve Nelson and
Lewis Nash.

American culture on
Saturday with Bayside
Historical Society’s special
family event. This event
will be a Native American
story time and craft. Led
by author Donna Gentle
Spirit Barron, this historian
and genealogist will direct
children while making
storytelling necklaces with
beads. Instructor Donna
Gentle Spirit Barron has
written several books on
the Matinecock tribe. This
event is for children of all
ages. However, younger
children will be assisted.

Witch is Dead at MoMA
PS1 - Directors Leah
Victoria Hennessey and
Emily Allan, along with
fashion collective Vaquera,
will present “Vaquera,
Ding Dong the Witch Is
Dead,” a play inspired by
the Broadway musical
“Wicked.” For this show,
Vaquera will tell stories
with their clothing. This is
what they call “fashion fan
fiction.”
