jazz nights. Established
in 2017, Arcadia already
offers its patrons trivia
every Wednesday, brunch
on Sundays and backyard
garden seating when weather
permits. Grab affordable

5 to 8 p.m. during their
daily happy hour. Arcadia’s
first jazz night began in the
beginning of April.

“Lucifer Landing I” -
“Lucifer Landing I,” a new
show by Jonathan González
at MoMA PS1 will take visitors
on a journey through an
immersive experience which
includes lighting design and
a sonic score referencing
celestial cosmogies.
González’s new commission
will cover and conceptualize
ideas such as blackness and
post-anthropocentrism. The
experience will have a VW
Dome which will function
as a model for eco-friendly
and sustainable living.
González will also have a solo
choreographed performance
on the fi nal night of the
immersive experience. The
show ends on April 21.

Passover Seder - Friday,
April 19, marks the beginning
of Passover, a Jewish
holiday that celebrates the
liberation of the Israelites
from slavery over 3,000
years ago. In New York City,
there are over 1.1 million
Jewish residents, making
up 13 percent of the overall
population. Each spring, the
weeklong commemoration
occurs around the globe. The
holiday is widely recognized
in Queens as well. Rego
Park Jewish Center will be
having a Passover Seder
on Conducted by Rabbi
Romiel Daniel and catered
by Meal Mart. Call or email

Easter Egg Hunt - Queens
County Farm will have
its infamous egg hunt on
Saturday. The event will
feature a meet and greet
with Whiskers the Bunny,
egg tossing and egg
rolling games. The farm
has a variety of animal
and hayrides. This event is
family friendly and suitable
for all ages. Food will be
available for purchase on
the 47-acre farm.

Performing music by

musician Matthew Greybil
returns to Maple Grove. He
has played around the world
including the United States,

young artist” and by The
Southampton Press as
“hypnotic and compelling.”
The event offers free
admission and free parking.

Foundation has a 2019
spring sports program
for young people in all
five boroughs. Children
ages eight to 14 have the
chance to learn the basics
of a variety of sports.
These include hurdles,
relay races, long jump,
shot put and javelin throw.
The program meets once
a week and ends on June
8. Online registration
is now open for anyone
who may be interested
