In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) notice is
hereby given that copies of a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed
Aircraft Fuel Tank Installation Project at John F. Kennedy International Airport are
available for public review and comment at the following locations:

The Draft EA document for this project will be available at these locations until the close
of the comment period, which is 30 days after the publication date of December 8th. In
addition, a copy of this document may be viewed online at: http://www.panynj.gov/
about/studies-reports.html
The Draft EA document responds to all of the requirements of the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) for preparation of an Environmental Assessment (EA) pursuant to
NEPA and also documents compliance with Federal Executive Orders 11988 and
13690: Floodplain Management. The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (Port
Authority) is inviting the public to submit, in writing, comments on the Draft EA prepared
for the Aircraft Fuel Tank Installation Project. The Port Authority is accepting comments
on this Draft EA document until the official comment period closes on January 8th.
Comments must be received by 5:00 PM on January 8th in order to be considered.
