The suspect and the victim’s girlfriend were on the platform of the Parsons Boulevard and Archer Avenue stop at about 10:20 a.m. on Sept. 14 when they bumped into each other, according to police. After the victim got involved in the ensuing altercation, the suspect punched the victim and sprayed him with an unknown substance, authorities said. The suspect then fl ed the Jamaica station on a southbound J train. The victim, 23, was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition. Police said the suspect, who is in his 30s, was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket and blue jeans. The suspect entered an Amalgamated Bank, located at 69-73 Grand Ave., at about 11:50 a.m. on Oct. 18 and demanded money from a teller, according to police. The teller complied and the suspect fl ed the bank with $873. Authorities describe the suspect as a heavy-set white man, 40 to 50 years old and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hat, black sunglasses, black sweatpants and blue gloves. Kennedy Community High School, according to authorities. Gina Morales, 41, was arrested in front of her home on Union Turnpike on Oct. 14 and charged with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in the injury of a woman, cops said. The car, police observed, had bumps on it that indicated it had hit something. No description of the vehicle was available. She told police that she was making a turn on the corner of Parsons Boulevard and 75th Road in Pomonok when she felt a “bump” but decided to keep driving. The victim was taken to Queens Hospital Center with minor injuries. Suspects wanted for robbing, punching Queens F train riders Police are looking for two men wanted in a string of robberies on the F train in Queens, where they punch their victims as they try to take their property. The fi rst theft took place at the 169th Street stop on Sept. 2 at about 4:10 a.m. A 23-year-old man was walking up the stairs of the subway station when two men grabbed him from behind, authorities said. The suspects threw the victim to the ground, punched him in the face and took his wallet from his back pocket. The suspects then fl ed. On Sept. 30, at about 9 a.m., a 30-year-old man was on a northbound F train when he was approached by two men, police said. One of the men punched the victim in the face and demanded his iPad. When the victim exited the train at the Sutphin Boulevard station, the suspects followed him, but fl ed without stealing anything. During the latest incident, on Oct. 8, at about 1:40 p.m., the two suspects targeted a 33-year-old man as he was sitting on a southbound F train, according to authorities. The train was stopped at the Parsons Boulevard stop when one of the suspects grabbed the victim’s cellphone from his hand and fl ed. When the victim tried to chase him, a second man punched the victim in the face. Police have released a video of the suspects and described them as two Hispanic men in their 20s. The suspect was in a checkout line of the ENC Market, a deli and grocery located at 5 Court Sq., at about 10:50 p.m. when he asked the victim for the phone number to a car service, authorities said. The store employee told the suspect he did not have a number and continued about his business. Police said the suspect then became upset and punched the employee in the face, causing swelling to his left cheek and eye. Harry Garcia, who was sentenced on Oct. 14, pleaded guilty to breaking into fi ve homes in Ozone Park and South Ozone Park between May 6 and June 6 of this year, and stealing valuable items worth thousands of dollars. Garcia was arrested on the morning of June 6, when police offi cers assigned to the Burglary Larceny Apprehension Surveillance Team and investigating a pattern of residential burglaries, noticed Garcia entering a residence on 117th Street in South Ozone Park by prying open a window. The offi cers then saw him leaving the residence with a bag that he was not carrying when he entered, according to Brown. When the offi cers approached him, he dropped the bag and ran. The offi cers caught him almost a block away. They allegedly found a Sony PlayStation, controllers and other accessories in the bag and a bracelet and chain that Garcia was wearing. The other burglaries that Garcia was accused of took place on May 6 in South Ozone Park, May 13 on 135th Avenue in South Ozone Park, on May 23 on 83rd Street in Ozone Park and on May 30 on 113th Street in Ozone Park. Brown said that Garcia “crossed a very serious line” when he entered the homes to steal the valuable items. According to him, in the month following Garcia’s arrest, “burglaries went down in the area approximately 31 percent.” “The sentence meted out by the court to the defendant, who has previously been convicted more than two or more predicate violent felonies, ensures that justice is served,” he said.
