10 Witness dancing near the waterfront!
From 4 to 5:30 p.m., Norte Maar’s Dance
at Socrates returns for its sixth season, bringing
dancemakers and their companies to the stage
near the East River waterfront. Socrates partners
with Norte Maar to present the creation and presentation
of dance in the park. This event is free
and is held in Socrates Sculpture Park, 32-01
Vernon Blvd., Astoria.

then head to the Alley Pond Park Adventure
Course! From 10 a.m. to noon, Alley Pond Park is
offering a free outdoor adventure that puts teamwork
to the test. Although this event is free, minors
must accompanied by an adult and must have
valid photo identification. Please enter your name

as space is limited. This course is set in Alley Pond

From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., experience VR like
no other as the Queens Library are offering a free
hands-on experience! Try a fun game like “Robo
Recall” or a horror game like “Face Your Fears.” You
must be 18 years old or 13 with parental consent
to experience VR. Come and see VR a the Queens
Library in Long Island City, 37-44 21st St. No registration
is required.

want to move, head to the Queens
Library! Linda Choldenko, a professional dancer
and choreographer, will be leading a music and
movement class for seniors 50+! Having been a
teaching artist with Lincoln Center for 20 years,
Ms. Choldenko is here to help you feel young
again. Join us at the Queens Library in Glen Oaks,

Relive the era of Harry Potter! This year marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter being published
