Caribbean Carnival! Spend

own wish pots! Using
the techniques of pinch, oil
and press molds, you will
build decorative to hold your
wishes! Methods include
pinch pots or small fragments
inlayed into a pre-existing
bowl form, optionally
building higher with oils;
with your wishes carved
inside. This free workshop
is held at Socrates Sculpture
Park, 32-01 Vernon Blvd.,

From 1 to 2 p.m., Camaleao,
a certified instructor from
Capoeira Nago Queens, will
introduce participants to
the basic fundamentals of
the Brazilian martial art of
Capoeira! This six-part series
will offer guidance with balance,
flexibility and agility,
while also providing a brief
history of Capoeira traditions.
