ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 17TH, AT 2:00PM,
we will be giving away 200 Backpacks
to children who need backpacks for school.
There will also be fun activities: face painting,
music, games and a bounce house.
Light refreshments will be served for everyone as well.
This is just a little something that we have decided to do to give
back to the community. Last year we gave out 100 backpacks
and our goal was to double it this year. We have been successful
in our fundraising to raise enough money to provide 200 backpacks
this year for the community. We have been operating
since 2007 in the Flushing community.
