Francis Preparatory school, currently celebrating its 40th anniversary in Queens, and 156th year of operation is proud to announce the unparalleled succes of the class of 2015. Prep will be graduating over 650 seniors on June 6th and 99% of these students will be going to college. In fact, Prep seniors were accepted into over 300 colleges and universities in 35 different states and 1 foreign country. Three students even earned full scholarship to Ivy League schools. when asked about this year’s graduating class, Prep’s director of Guidance and College Counseling, robyn armon, exlaimed that this is perhaps the smartest senior class she’s encountered at Prep. Ten students have a G.P.a. of 99 or over. They have also taken the most advanced Placement classes, with 431 students accounting for 700 class placements. and this, with the school limiting the enrollment for these elite classes. But perhaps the most staggering number is that Prep seniors have earned $134 million in merit scholarship over the next four years. This is even more impressive, given it’s a $35 million increase from last year’s class. $44 million came from on-site interviews and applications alone.
