WEATHERIZATION SERVICES BID
THROUGH HANAC����������.
Hellenic America Neighboorhood Action Committee Inc. (HANAC����������.), will be bidding out the
work for the DOE/PVE and HEAP contracts for the year 20����-202��.
HANAC����������., is a non-profit community based organization, which provides Weatherization Services in
small and multiple dwelling buildings in the Northern Queens area.
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services, which is locally administered and funded by the NYS Home
and Community Renewal (HCA).
HANAC���� ������. Is seeking experienced contractors to perform weatherization work and related services.
The general contracting work includes, but it is not limited to: Window repair and replacement,
lighting upgrades, blow-in insulation, vent cleaning and installation, air sealing, weather stripping,
caulking, door replacement, pipe insulation and rood repairs.
Sub-contractors will work on small homes (1-4 units) and multifamilies (5 units and up). Sub-contractors
should be aware that weatherization services performed on small homes (1-4 units) are subject to pre
and post blower door testing. HANAC���� ������. encourages active participation of minority and women
owned businesses (MWBE) and service disabled veteran owned business (SDVOB).
