Residents from Queens and beyond
converged upon Citi Field during the
weekend of May 18-19 for the second
annual World’s Fare. More than 100 vendors
representing cuisine from every corner
of the globe participated in the event,
which also featured an array of performances.
Winners named for the best savory of the Fare, West African Restaurant W.A.R. and best sweet of the Fare went to Black
Label Donuts. Award was presented by Chief Tastemaker Liza Mosquito Deguia and Tastemakers Hannah Goldberg and
George Motz along with Fare co-founders Joshua Schneps and Elizabeth Aloni
