 Man breaks into Jamaica  
 dentist’s offi  ce, steals cash  
 and a laptop: NYPD 
 Th  e NYPD is looking for a man who  
 allegedly broke into a dentist’s offi  ce  in  
 Jamaica and stole electronics, cash and a  
 checkbook earlier this month. 
 On Tuesday, May 5, around 2 p.m., an  
 unidentifi ed man broke into the offi  ce,  
 located at 87-34 Parsons Blvd., by smashing  
 the rear basement window, according  
 to police. 
 Once he was inside, the man stole a Dell  
 laptop, a check book and around $400, the  
 NYPD said. 
 He fl ed in an unknown direction. 
 Th  e suspect is described as being approximately  
 30 years old, and he was last seen  
 wearing a black hoodie sweater with a red  
 and tan stripe across the front, black pants  
 and black shoes, according to the police. 
 Police recovered video and photos of  
 the man from surveillance video from the  
 location of the incident. 
 Th  e investigation is ongoing.

 Arverne man dies after  
 early morning Rockaway  
 Beach shooting: NYPD 
 An 18-year-old Arverne man died aft er  
 he was shot in the head in Rockaway  
 Beach on Th  ursday, May 14. 
 Sean Brady was sitting in a car around  
 1:14 a.m. with an unidentifi ed  24-yearold  
 man in front of Th  e Sandwich Shop  
 — located at 87-18 Rockaway Beach  
 Blvd. — when he was shot in the head,  
 according to authorities. 
 Police arrived to the scene to fi nd  
 Brady  unconscious  and  unresponsive  
 sitting inside a red Chevy sedan with a  
 gunshot wound to his head, police said.  
 Th  e 24-year-old man sitting in the car  
 with Brady was shot in the leg and transported  
 to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, 
  according to authorities. 
 Brady was also transported to the hospital, 
  where he later was pronounced dead. 
 No arrests have been made and the  
 investigation is ongoing.

 Off  -duty cop arrested after  
 threatening his wife with a  
 gun in eastern Queens: NYPD 
 An off -duty NYPD police offi  cer  was  
 arrested early in the morning of Friday,  
 May 15, aft er he threatened his wife with  
 a gun inside their Queens home earlier  
 this year, according to the NYPD. 
 Sazal Roy, 30, was arrested by his fellow  
 offi  cers on May 15, around 2:15 a.m, and  
 charged with menacing for the alleged  
 domestic violence incident that occurred  
 on March 1, according to the police. 
 His wife hadn’t reported the incident  
 until recently, police sources say. 
 Roy, who lives within the confi nes  
 of the 105th Precinct, has been with  
 the NYPD since 2016, according to the  
 NYPD. He most recently was assigned to  
 a Transit command in Brooklyn, according  
 to the authorities. 
 Th  e investigation is ongoing.
