it. Founder of the event, Kim
Clarke, is an artist and producer
who has spent 17
years advertising for musicians,
organizing concerts,
and enhancing the careers of
women in jazz. As a celebration
of women, the event is a
concert and panel that provides
as a multicultural artistic
sharing experience.

a hip-hop, poetry and
soul concert series to continue
this women’s history
month. The theme is
“the future is female” and
it starts with Cocktails and
Conversation followed by an
intimate live show. To end it
off, there will be a Meet and
Mingle After Party. Guests will
receive three complimentary
drinks for the speciality cocktail
menu. There will also be
light bites and different fun
activities such as wellness
giveaways.

Councilman Robert Holden

future legislation. Held in

questions that the audience
may have about concerns in
the neighborhood.

5 Mozart’s The Magic
Flute: Queen’s College
Opera is bringing the 1971
written opera back to
life. “If only everyone had
a magic flute,” they wish.
The show will take you onto
a quest with Prince Tamino
as he’s being chased into
a strange land by a giant
serpent while he ends up
on pursuit with Papageno, a
bird-catcher. They’re seeking
enlightenment and romance,
but they’re having difficulties
telling apart the good
guys from the bad guys. Sung
in German with English dialogue
and supertitles, you’ll
experience a Mozart magic
mystery.
