ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS
TAEKWONDO LUNAR DAY PARADE 2019
The Lunar Day Parade in Flushing, Queens was held on
Saturday, February 9, 2019. With blistering cold
temperatures as low as 24 degrees, more than 100 students
of Ultimate Champions Taekwondo, including family
members, came out to celebrate and display their amazing
abilities of Taekwondo, Board Breaking and Nunchakus
techniques. Master Michael Ro of Ultimate Champions
Taekwondo Flushing, (www.FlushingTKD.com) was so
happy and proud of his students for coming out on such a
cold day to join and show the community their Taekwondo
spirit!
At the Kum Gang San Restaurant, following the parade, they
had the opportunity to perform a spectacular Taekwondo
demonstration in front of many NYC politicians; New York
State Senator John Liu, New York City Council member
Peter Koo, New York City Assembly member Ron Kim, and
President of the Korean American Association of Queens
Thomas Kim were in attendance.
