Last-minute comeback spoils Christ the King win
The Christ the King Royals’ men’s
varsity team lost a tough one to
Monsignor Scanlon High School
in The Bronx, with a 73-72 defeat. The
Royals took a 67-60 lead into the fi nal
quarter, but Scanlon bounced back,
outscoring Christ the King in the
fourth quarter, 13-5. It was the Royals’
fi rst loss of the season. Christ the King
took a 3-1 record into their matchup
with Xaverian on Dec. 21.
