ETHEL SMITH died on Saturday,
November 17, at the age of 93. She was
the wife of the late Richard Frising and
Allen Smith, loving mother of Richard
Frising and Carol Fulton, cherished
grandmother of Christopher, Kim, Brian,
Kelly, Eric, Jeff rey and Laura and
great-grandmother of Elias, Connor,
Kailey, Walter, Ella, Jameson, Madison,
Brendan and Matthew. Services will
be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November
23, at Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth, followed
by interment at All Faiths Cemetery,
Middle Village.

MARIA HRIBAR of Ridgewood
died on Friday, November 16, at the
age of 92. A native of Ormoz, Slovenia,
and a Ridgewood resident since the
1950s, she was the wife of the late John
Hribar, devoted mother of Peter Hribar,
dear mother-in-law of Lois, fond
grandmother of Corey and husband
Tim, Jason and wife Caitlin, and Adam,
and cherished great-grandmother of
Emerson. She was a longtime sales
clerk at Lynn’s and Keans Clothing
Stores. Visitation will be held on
Sunday, November 25, from 1 to 5
p.m. at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,
Ridgewood. A Mass of Christian Burial
will be off ered at 10:15 a.m. on Monday,
November 26, at St. Matthias Church,
Ridgewood, followed by interment at
All Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village.

STELLA RUSSO died on Wednesday,
November 14, at the age of 90.
She was the beloved sister of Gloria
Russo and the late Ida Russo and Marie
Testaccio, loving aunt of Vincent
Testaccio, Richard Testaccio and
Nicholas Testaccio, cherished greataunt
of John-Vincent and Travis and
great-great aunt of Damien and
Thomas. A Mass of Christian Burial
was off ered on Saturday, November
17, at St. Ephrem’s Church, Brooklyn,
followed by interment at Green-Wood
Cemetery, Brooklyn, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27
Grand Ave., Maspeth.

Beach died on Tuesday, November 13, at
the age of 37. A native of New York, he
was the loving son of Helmy Tadros and
Nadia Youwakeem Roman. A Divine

Ridgewood, followed by interment

Barre, Pennsylvania died on Monday,
November 12, at the age of 77. A native

November 11, at the age of 89. He was
the husband of the late Mary King,
loving father of Brian and Mary King,
and the late Noreen King, cherished

and Kathleen Nyland, and brother-inlaw
