Crooks rough
up rob victim
with sticks

Police are looking for a group
who recently attacked a man
for his wallet on a Ridgewood
street.
According to authorities, at 5:30
p.m. on Nov. 13, a 39-year-old man
was walking home on Starr Street
near Woodward Avenue when
he was approached by a group of
unknown individuals. The group
proceeded to assault the victim, hitting
him multiple times with a stick.
As the suspects beat the victim,
law enforcement sources said, one
of the suspects took the victim’s
wallet, which had $100 in cash and
his personal identification. The
assailants then fl ed the scene in an
unknown direction.
Offi cers from the 104th Precinct
responded to the incident. The
victim sustained a laceration to the
face during the assault. He was taken
to Wyckoff Hospital, where he
received treatment for his injuries.
According to information posted
on the 104th Precinct’s Twitter
page, the suspects are described
as three Hispanic males and one
Hispanic female between the ages
of 16 and 20 years old.
