Middle Village salutes those who
served at Vets Day march
The Queens Veterans Day Parade
along Metropolitan Avenue
in Middle Village on Nov. 4
honored the service of all men and
women who defended the country in
the Armed Forces. The march, which
involved numerous local veterans and
community groups, was led by Grand
Marshal and World War II veteran
Gerard Opitz of Glendale.
