See page 4 Bandits steal Rx drugs from Glendale store BY ROBERT POZARYCKI rpozarycki@ridgewoodtimes.com @robbpoz Three bandits donning masks and dressed in black clothing came calling to a Glendale pharmacy on the afternoon of Nov. 3, tying up two workers and stealing quantities of prescription drugs, according to police. Authorities said the robbery occurred at 12:48 p.m. at the Trinity Rx Pharmacy located at 75-21 Myrtle Ave. Reportedly, the three perpetrators — all of whom wore black sweaters, pants and sneakers — walked into the location. One of the suspects, police said, pulled out a black fi rearm, while his two cohorts jumped over the pharmacy counter, confronted male employees and presented a note demanding controlled prescription drugs. After the employees complied with the demand, authorities noted, the crooks then restrained the employees with cable ties and removed their wallets, each of which contained credit cards. The bandits then fl ed the store and were last seen heading westbound on Myrtle Avenue. Members of the 104th Precinct responded to the incident; neither of the workers were injured.
