The ghosts and ghouls were out in force in Glendale on Halloween night for the annual Glendale Halloween Parade hosted by the Glendale Kiwanis Club. The parade kicked off at 7 p.m. in front of the Stop and Shop located at 64-65 Myrtle Ave., and everyone marched their way down to St. Pancras School for a spooky costume contest. Participants — which included people and their four-legged friends — were dressed up as superheroes, storm troopers, Pokemon, and much more. More of the same could be found in Maspeth during the annual Ragamuffi n Parade hosted by the Maspeth Lions Club. Trick-or-treaters of all ages marched along Grand Avenue from Mount Olivet Cemetery to Maspeth Federal Savings Bank at 69th Street. St. Pancras Cub Scout Pack 383 leading the way.
