The 104th Precinct‘s
looking for the
public’s help
in fi nding two bandits
who threatened
workers with pepper
spray while robbing a
Glendale apparel store.
Law enforcement sources said the
caper occurred at 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 19
inside the Foot Locker located in The
Shops at Atlas Park, 80-28 Cooper Ave.
According to police, the two male
suspects walked into the location and
began grabbing numerous clothing
items valued at an estimated $1,400,
then proceeded to head for the exits.
When a worker confronted them,
authorities said, one of the bandits
displayed what appeared to be pepper
spray, aimed it at the employee
and said, “Don’t move.” The crooks
then exited from the shop and fl ed
in an unknown direction.
Police said the device was not
discharged, and no injuries were
reported.
On Oct. 30, the 104th Precinct
posted on its Twitter account
images of the suspects. Anyone
with information regarding their
whereabouts can call the 104th
Precinct Detective Squad at 718-386-
2723; all calls are kept confi dential.
