OBITUARIES
SALVATORE MONTELLA died on Wednesday, October 23, at
the age of 79. He was the beloved brother of John Montella, Ann
Cofresi, Ralph Montella, and the late Fred Montella, cherished
uncle of Gina, Michelle, John, April, Nicole, Nicholas, Paul and
Michael Gino, and great-uncle of Julia, Emmalina, Benjamin, Gabriella,
Frankie, Avery, Sydney, Kelsey, Ryley, J.T., Aiden and Jada.
He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. A Mass of Christian Burial was
held at St. Mary’s Church on Monday, October 28, followed by
interment at Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

SALVATORE SPINOSA died on Tuesday, October 22, at the
age of 91. He was the beloved husband of Angela Spinosa, the
loving father of Theresa Strocchia and father-in-law of Joseph,
cherished nonno of Neil and Salvatore, and great-grandfather
of Isabella Eve and Joseph Jacob. A Mass of Christian Burial
was held at St. Francis de Paola Church on Monday, October
28, followed by entombment at Lutheran All-Faiths Cemetery,
Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

ARACELI TARABAY died on Saturday, October 19, at the age
of 66. She was the beloved wife of Raef Tarabay, and the loving
sister of Jessica Bustillo, Backy Bustillo and Nancy Bustillo. A
private cremation was held at Fresh Pond Cemetery on Tuesday,
October 22, followed by a memorial service held at Papavero
Funeral Home, Middle Village, under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.
