Man walks in
on invaders
in Ridgewood

Detectives are
looking for
three men
behind a Ridgewood
home invasion who
got into a physical struggle with the
resident who walked in on them.
According to police, at 10:30 p.m.
on Oct. 18, the victim entered his
home on Gates Avenue near Cypress
Avenue. When he entered his
bedroom, he saw three unidentifi ed
men standing inside.
Law enforcement sources said that
a struggle ensued between the victim
and the suspects, leading one of the
suspects to grab the victim by the jacket,
pull out a gun and threaten him.
The suspects ultimately left the
scene empty-handed and fl ed to the
building’s roof to parts unknown,
police said.
Offi cers from the 104th Precinct
responded to the scene. No injuries
were reported as a result of the
incident.
On Oct. 23, the 104th Precinct
tweeted out an image of one of the
suspects. Anyone with information
about the case can call the NYPD
