A native of Flushing, he was the son of the late Mary and Philip Prial, dear brother of Mary, Frances, Irene, Philip and the late Catherine Harris, James and Joseph Prial. He was the beloved husband of Helen, father of Terence, Timothy, Tara, Eileen and the late Mary Elizabeth Prial, and is also survived by three grandchildren: Charlotte Ann, Miranda and Ethan. He was a veteran of the Air Force and served as a New York City transit police offi cer for 20 years.
