WILLIAM S. CODY, , died on Saturday, October 12, at
the age of 72. He was the beloved brother of John Cody
and Thomas Cody, a cherished uncle, and a dedicated
member of the Knights of Columbus of Jackson Heights,
NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of
Fatima Church on Friday, October 18, at 9:30 a.m, followed
by private cremation at Fresh Pond Creamatory, Middle
Village, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

EUGENIA P. BAUER died on Friday, October 11, at the
age of 73. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph
Bauer, loving mother of Elizabeth Layne (Rocky) and
Freddy Nagel (Elizabeth), cherished grandmother of Leah,
Ava, and Tyler, dear sister of Orysia Nestor, Olga Olijnyk,
and Walter Olijnyk. She is also survived by many loving
nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services were held
at Papvero Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, at
10 a.m., followed by interment at Holy Spirit Ukranian
Catholic Cemetarty, Campbell Hall, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

13, at the age of 72. She was the beloved wife of Jose R.
Bacani, loving mother of Joyce Bacani and Jackie Bacani,
cherished grandmother of Chole and Hannah, dear sister
of Renee Dizon, Elizabeth Chu, Edgardo Chu, Fernando
Chu, and the late Zenny Tan, Pablito Chu, and Jun Chu.
She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and
friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Ascension
Church on Friday, October 18, followed by interment
at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

HENRY P. YOUNG, of Ridgewood, died on Tuesday, October
8, at the age of 96. He was rhe beloved husband of
Magdalena, devoted father of Beverly May, Valerie Green,
Pamela Young, and Christine Pellicci, and dear brother of
Olga Wizzard. He was a member of the Frank Kowalsi Polish
Legion of American Veterans, longtime proprietor of
Youngs Bar & Grill, and a veteran of the Army. A Mass of
Christian Burial was held at St. Matthias R.C. Church, followed
by interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn,
under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

ALBERTO ARANA, of Brooklyn, died on Thursday,
October 10, at the age of 75. A native of Guayaquil, Ecuador,
he was the beloved husband of Roberta Escobar,
devoted father of Maria Arana, Karina, Arana, Luis
Arana, and Alberto Arana. He is also survived by 13
grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at
St. Barbara’s R.C. Church, followed by cremation at Fresh
Pond Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of
Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview
Ave., Ridgewood.
