It’s Harvest Time At Ridgewood’s House From picking pumpkins to making apple cider and candles, there were plenty of fun fall-themed activities during the annual harvest festival at the Onderdonk House in Ridgewood on Sunday, Oct. 12. Sponsored by the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society, the festivities included face painting, games, live music from the Joe Fuoco Music Center, food provided by the Kiwanis Club of Glendale and tours of the landmark Onderdonk House, a colonial Dutch farmhouse constructed in 1709. We dare kids, from the 3rd grade through the 8th grade, who live in Queens or Brooklyn to send their best ghost stories, vampire tales and weird Halloween stories to us!
