OBITUARIES
BERNICE SHERIDAN, of Woodside, died on Friday,
September 27, at the age of 88. A native of Brooklyn, she
was the beloved wife of the late James T. Sheridan and is
survived by many nieces and nephews. Services were
offerd at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels
followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery
under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chape;s, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood.

LOUISE SOMMESE died on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the age
of 90. She was the beloved mother of Mary Ellen Burriesci,
Cindy Pinto, Vincent Sommese, and Dominick
Sommese, cherished rgandmother of Joseph, Anthony,
Michelle, Antoinette, and Louise, and dear sister of Dolly
Falco. Funeral services were held at Papvero Funeral
Home on Tuesday, October 8, followed by interment at St.
John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of
Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

MARIA OLIVERI died on Monday, September 30, at the
age of 91. She was the beloved wife of the late Calogero
Oliveri, loving mother of Ann Fusco and Antonina Scholz,
and mother-in-law ot Tony and Reinhard, and cherished
grandmother of Mara, Joseph, Carl, and Stefania. A Mass
of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Hope Church
on Friday, October 4, followed by entombement at St. john
Cemetery Resurrection Mausoleum, Middle Village, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

THOMAS J. SULLIVAN died on Friday, September 27,
at the age of 66. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine
Como-Sullivan, loving father of Elizabeth Nagel and
James Sullivan, father-in-law of Frederick and Colleen,
and cherished grandfather of Ava, Tyler, and Leah. A
Mass of Christian Burial was held at Transfiguration
Church on Thursday, October 3, followed by interment
at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth, under the direction
of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

THOMAS P. REILLY died on Wednesday, October 2, at
the age of 41. He was the beloved son of Eileen and Robert
M. Reilly, loving brother of Michael Reilly and Amanda
Reilly, brother-in-law of Nancy, cherished uncle of Darrah
and Sydney. He is also survived by many loving aunts,
uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was held
Monday, October 7, at St, Adalbert’s Church, followed by
inerment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth.

NANCY CICE, of Middle Village, died on Friday, October
4, at the age of 99. She was the beloved wife of the late
Joseph, devoted mother of John Cice and Lydia Rybarczyk,
and dear sister of Rose DeSantis. She is also survived
by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Church on Wednesday, October 9, followed by entombment
in Pine Lawn Memorial Park under the direction
of Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan Ave.,
Middle Village.
