Art: Made in Ridgewood @ Outpost Artist Resources Inc..The Ridgewood Artists Coalition and the residents of OUTPOST Artist Resources collaborate in Made in Ridgewood with their opening reception held from noon to 7 p.m. on Oct. 1. Both of these organizations are comprised of artists and musicians who are closely tied to the Ridgewood community and the title of this exhibit reveals the neighborhood’s inherent inspiration to the artist’s process and final pieces. Made in Ridgewood will be on display every day from noon to 7 p.m. through Oct. 15. Outpost Artist Resources Inc. is located at 1665 Norman St. Performance Art: Chthonic @ Factory ArtSpace. Located in the basement of Factory ArtSpace, Bert Bergen and Mariya Dimov will collaborate in Chthonic. Honing in on spiritual practices, Chthonic uses the cave as a place of sanctuary and the performance is a reimagination of concepts spanning from the archaic to the esoteric. The performances are held at three different times: 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 pm. Factory ArtSpace is located at 1630 Stephen St. Workshop: Yoga Based Stress Management Workshop @ All Yoga NYC.
