WAS HATE CRIME
The NYPD is willing to dole out up
to $2,500 in rewards to anyone who
provides information that leads to the
arrest and indictment of the three teenagers
wanted for vandalizing Cypress
Hills Cemetery in Glendale last week.
According to the fl yer released by
police, the incident that took place on
Aug. 15 in which the teens spray painted
racial slurs against African-Americans,
Chinese and Arabic people, and
hateful messages against the NYPD is
now being investigated as a hate crime.
It was reported last week that aft er
entering the cemetery on the Queens/
Brooklyn border just aft er midnight
on Aug. 15, the teens knocked over
and spray painted approximately 40
headstones. The trio also entered the
memorial Abbey mausoleum where
they broke the marble stones on the
front of approximately 15 vaults, and
spray painted more derogatory slurs.
Police released video surveillance
footage of the teens inside the
cemetery.
The suspects have been described
as males, approximately 16 to 19 years
of age, possibly white or Hispanic with
light complexions.

L TRAIN MASTURBATOR
CAUGHT ON CAMERA
Cops are looking to catch a man who
decided to get a cheap thrill in front
of a female passenger while riding a
subway train in Ridgewood earlier
this month.
According to law enforcement
sources, the 39-year-old female victim
boarded a Canarsie-bound L train at
the Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues station
at 2 p.m. on Aug. 10 when she saw the
individual sprawled across one of the
train’s benches with his hands down
his pants masturbating. The incident
was later reported to police.
Police are now looking for the male
suspect, who was described as a black
male in his 50s, and was last seen
wearing a black sleeveless shirt and
white and gray shorts. He was also
carrying with him a black bag with
white dots on it.
