See pages 10 & 11 Party ends with guest shot dead in Bushwick BY ROBERT POZARYCKI rpozarycki@ridgewoodtimes.com @robbpoz A 22-year-old man was fatally shot on a Bushwick street after leaving a nearby party early on Friday morning, Aug. 12, police reported. The shooting occurred at 12:50 a.m. in front of a home on Covert Street near Wilson Avenue. Law enforcement sources said Terrell V. Henry, 22, of Lexington Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant had just left a party along with his brother and a friend and was heading to a nearby store to grab a drink. Henry’s brother and friend, meanwhile, went to their car. As Henry was walking back from the store, police said, an unidentifi ed male suspect shot him in the torso and fl ed the scene. Offi cers from the 83rd Precinct and EMS units responded to a 911 call about the shooting. Paramedics rushed Henry to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
