MARIJA KECI of Ridgewood died on
Thursday, August 9, at the age of 88. A native
of Lokve, Yugoslavia, she was the wife of the
late Pavel Keci and dear sister of Liana Baba,
Florica Radov and Jon Purkar. Services were
offered at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave., Ridgewood,
followed by interment at All Faiths Cemetery,
Middle Village.

HELEN LOSER of Ridgewood died on
Thursday, August 9, at the age of 84. A native
of Churchlem, Gottschee, Yugoslavia, she
was the wife of the late Joseph Loser and dear
sister of Joseph Maichin. She is also survived by
many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered at Our Lady of the Miraculous
Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed by
interment at St. John Cemetery, Middle Village,
under the direction of Morton Funeral Home/
Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,
Ridgewood.

FLORENCE MIRRO died on Wednesday,
August 8, at the age of 88. She was the wife of the
late Joseph Mirro, loving mother of Lawrence
Mirro, Michael Mirro, Joseph T. Mirro and
Mary Carbone, cherished grandmother of
Nicole, Mitchell, Lauren, Jennifer and Joseph E.
and great-grandmother of Joey, Ryan, Aryanna,
Olivia, Christina and Alayna. She was also a
dear friend to many. A Mass of Christian Burial
was offered on Saturday, August 11, at St. Adalbert’s
Church, Elmhurst, followed by interment
at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY, under
the direction of Papavero Funeral Home,
72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

Monday, August 6, at the age of 61. A native of
Nikolinci, Yugoslavia, he was the loving son of
Trifu Mateas and dear brother of Doina Coloka.

ERNEST J. WADE died on Thursday, July
26, at the age of 81. Originally of Rush, County
Dublin, Ireland, he was the husband of the late
Cecilia Wade, loving father of Keri-Ann and
Michael Donohue, Sean Wade and the late
Vincent Wade and cherished grandfather of
Vincent and Sadie. He is also survived by many
loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered on Wednesday,
August 1, at St. Adalbert’s Church, Elmhurst,
followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery,
Woodside, under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.
