Police identified the alleged vandal as 36-year-old Eric Lutz of 69th Street. According to information provided by the Queens District Attorney’s office, Lutz wrote derogatory messages and spraypainted four parked cars around Glendale between 6 p.m. on July 22 and 8 a.m. the next morning. Many of the messages were critical of the way drivers parked, it was noted. On one vehicle parked at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and 68th Street, law enforcement sources stated, Lutz allegedly wrote, “Learn to park s bag.” He reportedly painted a similar message, but with a gay slur, on another vehicle at the corner of Cooper Avenue and 70th Street. Police said Lutz also allegedly tagged another vehicle located in front of a home on Central Avenue near 69th Street and painted over the windows and side mirrors of a car in the vicinity of 69th Place and 70th Avenue. Each of the incidents were reported to the 104th Precinct. Based on information obtained during its investigation, police stated, the 104th Precinct Detective Squad tracked Lutz down last week. According to the criminal complaint, he allegedly confessed to the graffiti spree. Det. Louis Lodato of the 104th Precinct Detective Squad charged Lutz with four counts each of making graffiti, criminal mischief and possession of graffiti instruments. The suspect was released without bail following arraignment last Wednesday, Aug. 6, in Queens Criminal Court before Judge Stephanie Zaro. Lutz is scheduled to return to court on Sept. 16, it was noted. www.timesnewsweekly.com •Your PRIMARY Care Physicians •Your MEDICAL SPECIALTY Physicians 718-497-1919 Save this number to your cell phone or make a note of it now.
