On Celebrating your Kiwanis Charter Anniversary!!
Your accomplishments in only ONE YEAR,
include some of the following:
• Ridgewood has become the largest Kiwanis Club in NY District
with over 150 members.
• Ridgewood 3-2-1 reactivated/opened 15 Builders Clubs (JHS version
of Kiwanis) with NY District Administrator Ricky Wahmann.
• Ridgewood has plans underway to open 12 K-Kids Clubs
(Elementary) and 2 Community Key Clubs (H.S.) before September 30th.
• Ridgewood is the only Club with a Kiddy Kidz Club (UPK)
in the Kiwanis International world.
• Ridgewood 3-2-1 donated a truckload of supplies for Kamp Kiwanis
for First Lady Bonnie Baker's Major Emphasis.
• Ridgewood donated $1,900 to NY District Governor Hank Baker's
Project to send kids from Fort Drum's Army Base to Kamp Kiwanis.
• Ridgewood sponsored the Halloween Haunted House Dinner
and an Easter Dinner and Egg Hunt for the AKTION Club.
• Ridgewood hosted a Barbecue for the children and families at the
NYC Ronald McDonald House.
• Ridgewood raised & donated $8,700 to Trick or Treat for UNICEF
spearheaded by Elimidallion Medal recipients John & Margie Stahl.
• Ridgewood contributed the largest number of can tabs in Queens
West Division for Ronald McDonald House.
• Ridgewood sponsored the local 104 Precinct NYPD Law Explorers
Post for $1,200.

5K Run and Walk for Fitness.
Greg Mitchell from CM Holden’s Office with Liz Fitzgerald,
President, Janine Mahon, 1st V.P, and Gino Ancona, President
Elect with Citation for One Year Anniversary of Charter.
Over 60 members attend Ridgewood Kiwanis Meetings on the First
and Third Wednesday of each month.
St. Mary’s Hospital Walk-a-thon raised $2850 for this year.
