THE 104TH PRECINCT DID NOT PROVIDE A BLOTTER THIS WEEK 106th Precinct South Central Queens 102nd Precinct Kew Gardens, Richmond Hill, Woodhaven and Ozone Park Ridgewood warehouse burglar locked up A Brooklyn man has been charged with burglarizing a number of Ridgewood businesses earlier this year, prosecutors announced on June 17. Christopher Foli, of Van Buren Street in Brooklyn, “is accused of brazenly breaking into different businesses at the same Queens complex over the course of a week. He will now be held accountable for his alleged actions,” District Attorney Richard A. Brown said. The criminal complaint states that Foli broke into four stores from April 14 to April 20. All of the crimes took place in the early morning. Surveillance video depicts Foli entering and leaving numerous businesses within the NY Brooklyn Wholesale Center Inc. at 1710 Flushing Ave., including Clear Accessories, Ying Feng Trading, Happy House Inc. and 365 Fashions Inc. On April 14, Foli was seen entering Clear Accessories by climbing a wall, removing cash from a drawer behind the store counter, and fleeing. The following morning, Foli is seen performing the same act to the Ying Feng Trading company. The owner of Happy House Inc. found not only an empty register on the morning of April 19 but also a damaged door, Brown said. Finally, video cameras captured Foli on April 20 spraying the inside of 365 Fashions Inc. with a fire extinguisher and leaving the store with what appears to be a cash register. Foli, who is being held on $50,000 bail, is expected to return to court on June 28; he was charged with three counts of burglary, two counts of criminal mischief and two counts larceny. If he is convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison.
