teams traveled to the MLS
Academy, the New England
Revolution, and played some highly
competitive and entertaining games
— many of which ended in ties.
Both BWG 17's and 19's team continue
their push for the playoff s. The

Revolution to 1-1 draws, while the U19s
also drew with the Revolution, 2-2.
On the pre-academy and club travel
side, the BWG 2007 played an exciting
game at home at Brennan Field in Juniper
Valley Park against Dutch Total
Soccer from Brooklyn.
The BW Gottschee boys went
down 1-0 early in the game and then
took control of the rest of the play to
win 4-2.
The BWG 2007 pre-academy team
was also in split-squad action. The
BWG White team beat Eleft heria 8-1
in the city cup semifi nals on May 12,
while on Sunday, they defeated the
Beachside squad 4-3. The BWG Blue
team also defeated the Beachside
squad by the same score.
The BWG 05 Royals are also competing
in the NYCSL 1st Division and
won two consecutive games to remain
undefeated in league play. The boys
won 3-1 against Southampton and 1-0
against Atletico of St. James. They’ll
be playing in the cup semifi nal this
weekend against Clarkstown.
