LILIAN MORAN died on Monday,
May 6, at the age of 89. She was the
wife of the late Edward P. Moran,
loving mother of Edward and
Bess Moran, Kenneth Moran, and
Laura and John Daidone, cherished
grandmother of Michael, James,
Justin, Luke, Cara, Julia and Ava, and
great-grandmother of Jack Edward.
She is also survived by many loving
nieces, nephews and friends. A Mass
of Christian Burial will be offered
at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, May 10, at St.
Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed
by interment at Calvary Cemetery,
Woodside, under the direction of
Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

FRANKA JELOVCIC died on
Friday, May 3, at the age of 101. She
was the wife of the late Josip Jelovcic,
loving mother of Enco Ballacic,
Onorato Jelovcic, Valnea Smilovic
and the late Celestina Travalja,
cherished grandmother of Cindy,
Steven, Christina, Josip and Eric
great-grandmother of Jack, Katie,
Emma and Etan, and dear sister of
Josip Jelovcic. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered on Monday, May
6, at St. Mary’s Church, Woodside,
followed by interment at Maple
Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens,
under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,
Maspeth.

ALEXANDRU OBRADOVICI of
Glendale died on Friday, May 3, at
the age of 71. A native of Romania, he
was the beloved husband of Rozila,
devoted father of Miodrag and
Angelica, and son of the late Bojidar
and Giurgina Obradovici. He is also
survived by five grandchildren.
He was a member of International
Local 28. Services were offered at
graveside at Linden Hill Cemetery,
Ridgewood, under the direction of
George Werst Funeral Home, 71-41
Cooper Ave., Glendale.

ROBERT J. WITTMER of
Ridgewood died on Friday, May 3, at
the age of 75. A native of Ridgewood,
he was the husband of the late Elaine,
devoted father of Theresa and Robert
Camino, and Susan DeMino, and dear
brother of Marilyn Clark, Arthur,
Dennis, Margaret Meyer, Janet
Randazzo and Eileen Lamana. He is
also survived by four grandchildren.
Services were offered at Hess-Miller
Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan
Ave., Middle Village, followed by
cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory,
Middle Village.

TOMAS DIAZ died on Wednesday,
May 1, at the age of 78. He was the
beloved husband of Antonia Diaz,
loving father of Rossanna and Stella,
cherished grandfather of Danny,
Vanessa, Marcello, Gabriel and Alex,
and great-grandfather of Danny Jr.
and Eliana. A private cremation was
held on Friday, May 3, at Fresh Pond
Crematory, Middle Village, followed
by entombment of cremated remains
at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth,

MARGARET THERESA
SCIBELLI died on Wednesday, May
1, at the age of 87. She was the beloved
wife of John J. Scibelli, loving mother
of Peter Scibelli and Anthony Scibelli,

Dillon, Samantha and Matisse. A

May 9, at Our Lady of Mercy Church,
