at the Long Island City location of
the Queens Library. Learn everything
you need to know about American
history, government and culture to
pass the citizenship exam. The class
will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. Students
may register at the library and
must have a copy of their own green

and students must complete the full

The Museum of the Moving Image is
hosting a screening of the fi lm “Ghost
in the Shell” at 7:30 p.m. in the Bartos
screening room. The 106-minute digital
production stars Scarlett Johansson
as Major, a human who is cyber-enhanced
to be a perfect soldier devoted
to stopping the world’s dangerous
criminals. Tickets are only $15 ($11
for seniors and students/$9 for youth

much younger Burt Hanson. The fi lm will

Word Workshop. From 10 a.m.
to noon, you will learn how to build
upon your basic knowledge of Microsoft

The second New Amsterdam Festival at the Vander-Ende Onderdonk
House brings together two days of family-friendly springtime entertainment.
There will be plenty of live music, food, raffl es and games as well as
a fl ea market hosted by the Ridgewood Market. Adults can also enjoy sampling
some of the brews from the local Bridge & Tunnel Brewery. While
visiting, you can also tour the Onderdonk House, one of the most historic
structures in New York City dating back to the 17th century. Admission
