Bastidas, proud owner of his “furry children” Stone and Seamus, and loving brother of Sara Neiman, Jose Bastidas and Juan Bastidas. He was also a dear brotherin law and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was a retired FDNY paramedic. She was the daughter of the late Costantino Greco and Concetta Greco (nee Giordano) and was preceded in death by her sister Mary Amodeo and brother Stephen. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Solimeno, sister-inlaw of the late Gennaro Solimeno, Louis Solimeno and William T. Conroy. She is survived by her children Anthony, Maryann and Joseph; her sister Frances Conroy; brother-in-law Michael Solimeno; grandchildren Christina and Rebecca and Anthony Solimeno; and friend Marion Rady. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU) and was a 50-year member of the Rosary Altar Society at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Ridgewood. A wake will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64- 19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.
