According to police, the attack took place at 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, when an unknown suspect used an unknown object to stab and slice the 41-year-old male victim in his head and lower right arm outside of a home on 95th Street near 91st Avenue. Aft er the attack, the suspect — last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and white slacks — fl ed the scene of the crime on a bike in an unknown direction, law enforcement agents said. Offi cers from the 102nd Precinct arrived on scene with EMS units; the victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police stated. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement sources said the attack occurred at about 6:50 a.m. on March 25 in the vicinity of Irving and Greene avenues. According to authorities, the suspect -- described as a Hispanic male between 18 and 20 years of age, standing 5 foot 10 inches tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red sneakers -- climbed up a re escape, opened a window and entered the apartment. e female resident woke up to nd the man inside her bedroom. Police said he exposed himself and then attempted to rape her. Authorities said the woman managed to ght o her attacker, who ed the scene in an unknown direction. O cers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the incident. e woman was not seriously injured. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
