longtime Mets fan, she is also survived by many loving nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial

Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Sebastian’s Church
on Monday, March 29, followed by interment at Long Island
National Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

ANTONIA DIAZ died Thursday, March 25, at the age of
77. She was the beloved wife of the late Tomas Diaz, loving
mother of Rossana Basantes and Stella Del Rio, cherished
grandmother of Danny, Vanessa, Marcelo, Gabriel and Alex,
and great gandmother of Danny Jr., Eliana, Julianne and Matthew.
Private cremation was held at All Souls Crematory on
Friday, March 26, followed by entobment of cremated remains
at Mount Olivet Cemtery, under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, Maspeth.

HELEN S. KIEDAISCH died Thursday, March 25, at the age
of 99. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Kiedaisch,
loving mother of Barbara Carroll, Rosemary Carroll and Robert
Kiedaisch, cherished grandmother of Lisa, John, Tommy,
Jimmy and Mary, great grandmother of Catherine Jonathan,
Johnny, Jessica, Matthew, Jacquelyn, Luke, Liam, Kelly, Emma,
Faith, Ashley and Connor, and great-great grandmother of
Ryan. She was a teacher at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Academy for
30 years and was affectionately known as “Mrs. Helen” and
“MAGA.” In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made
to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Good Shepherd
Hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Adalbert’s
Church on Wednesday, March 31, followed by interment
at St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, Maspeth.

JOSE RODRIGUEZ died Saturday, March 27, at the age of 84.
He was the beloved husband of Custodia Rodriguez, loving
father of Maria Luisa Rodriguez, Concepcion Rodriguez and
Javier Trujillo, Carmen and Alfonso Nava, Jose Luis Rodriguez
and Oscar and Claudia Rodriguez. Funeral Liturgy will be
offered at Most Precious Blood Church at 10 a.m. on Thursday,
April 1, followed by interment at St. john Cemetery, under the
direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.

JOSEPHINE LETSKY died Saturday, March 27, at the age of
84. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Letsky, loving
mother of Kanice & Joseph LaRosa, Lynette and Don Piombo
and Stephen & Ann Letsky, cherished grandmother of Jamie,
Joseph, Anthony and Andrew, and dear sister of Carmen Zajic,
Raymond Martinez and Maxine Torres. She is also survived
by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Private cremation
will be held at All Souls Crematory on Thursday, April 1,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, Maspeth.
