OBITUARIES
GEORGE P. MILLER of Glendale
died on Saturday, March 17, at the age
of 76. He was the current historian and
former executive director and past
president of the Greater Ridgewood
Historical Society and worked in the
Long Island Division of the Queens
Borough Public Library in Jamaica.
He was the son of the late Henry and
Marguerita and was a retired lieutenant
colonel in the U.S. Air Force for
22 years. Visitation will take place on
Wednesday, April 4, from 2 to 5 p.m.
and from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hess-Miller
Funeral Home, 64-19 Metropolitan
Ave., Middle Village. A Mass of Christian
Burial will take place at 9:30 a.m.
on Thursday, April 5, at St. Pancras
Church, Glendale, followed by interment
at Calverton National Cemetery,

Sunday, March 25, at the age of 66.
He was the beloved husband of Naheel
Harrison, loving father of Leila
Harrison and Edward O. Harrison,
father-in-law of Graceann and dear
brother of Tom Harrison and Joan
Schoonmaker. He is also survived by
many loving nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial
was off ered on Wednesday, March 28,
at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle
Village, followed by interment at Riverside
Cemetery, Coxsackie, NY, under

DONALD T. GRAY died on Saturday,
March 24, at the age of 82. He
was the husband of the late Dorothy
Gray; loving father of Douglas and
Lydia, Donna and Frank, Daniel and
Catherine, and Darlene and Philip;
cherished grandfather of Michael,
Devin, Sean, Adelina, Kayla, Jack,
Luca and Dorothy; dearest brother
of Joan Jangarathis and the late William
Gray and Margaret Parry; and
dear friend of Patricia Rabaglia. He is
also survived by many loving nieces,
nephews and friends. He was a U.S.
Army veteran. A Mass of Christian
