The Knockdown Center presents
“Despacio,” an eight-hour, vinyl-only
odyssey to New York, conceived
by James Murphy. One of the most
infl uential musical fi gures of the last
two decades, Murphy is the founder
and principal of LCD Soundsystem,
while also creating four of the most
acclaimed albums of the millenium.
“Despacio” will be a three-day event
from March 29 to 31, all starting at 8
p.m. The show is only for ages 21 and

The Rego Park Jewish Center is
kicking off the Passover festivities by
cooking up a traditional Passover seder
and dinner. The dinner will be led
by Rabbi Romiel Daniel and catered by
Meal Mart. Tickets are $80 for adults
and only $30 for children ages 12 and

Getting excited for the Easter

Queens County Farm Museum. From
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids ages 2 to 12 will
participate in the Barnyard Egg Hunt
event. Egg hunts will be ongoing in
the orchard throughout the event and
Whiskers the Bunny will be hopping
about, ready for photo-ops. Kids can
also try their luck at egg tossing and
egg rolling games. Aft er that, come
visit our farm animals and take a
hayride! There will be food vendors

An interview preparation class is being run by the Long Island City location
of the Queens Library. Practice makes perfect when it comes to
job interviews. In his two-part workshop, participants will learn about
diff erent types of interviews, how to prepare for an interview and the
diff erent interview techniques and common questions that will be asked.
Also, you will be taught how to respond to diffi cult questions and how
to properly follow-up aft er your interview. The class is free and will go
