It was noted that all criminal charges are accusations and all persons listed in this blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty. 104 Precinct Blotter GRAFFITI VANDALISM IS A CRIME Help the NYPD fight it Report past vandalism to 311 Report vandalism in progress to 911 83rd Precinct Bushwick Crook surprises biker on a Bushwick block A gun-toting bandit tried to catch his victim off guard and steal his belongings during a nighttime robbery attempt in Bushwick last weekend, police reported. According to authorities, the 24-year-old male victim was chaining up his bike near 310 Weirfield St. on March 19 at 9:30 p.m. when the suspect approached him and asked for the time. The suspect then pulled out a black handgun from his backpack and demanded the victim hand over his property. The victim refused to cooperate and ran off, police said. In response, the suspect fired one shot from his gun in the direction of the fleeing victim. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. Officer from the 83rd Precinct responded to the incident and reported no injuries and that no items were stolen. The suspect has been described as a 20-year-old black male with a medium complexion, standing 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with black hair and last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black sneakers, and a black book bag. All calls and messages are kept confidential. Man shot to death near Ozone Park home A 26-year-old man was fatally shot in the head at a Queens home on the morning of March 19, according to police. Police received a 911 call of gunshots outside a house on 131st Street in South Ozone Park. When they arrived, they saw the man with a gunshot wound to the back in the rear of the location, according to police. A police source told the Daily News that a .22-caliber firearm and three shell casings were found at the scene. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
