According to police, the suspect, whose name has not been released, was spotted in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn driving a Nissan Maxima at around 3:30 a.m., an hour and a half after the original shooting. When the offi cers tried to stop the vehicle, they heard a gunshot and found the suspect slumped over the steering wheel. A 9-mm handgun was found inside the vehicle, law enforcement authorities confi rmed. Police reported that he was rushed to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The fi rst shooting occurred at about 1:53 a.m. at Mike’s Deli Grocery, located at 20-60 Gates Ave. According to the Daily News, the two men who were shot were employees. The suspect allegedly came in looking for another employee but was told he no longer worked there. He then proceeded to shoot the two employees currently working there. A 23-year-old male was shot in the face and sustained a graze wound, police said. The 20-year-old employee was shot in the right arm.
