RICHARD KIJIK died on Sunday,
March 10, at the age of 72. He was
the husband of the late Joanne
Kijik, loving father of Jason and
Michelle Kijik, and Bryan Kijik,
cherished grandfather of Hailey,
and dear brother of Arlene, Cheryl
and Greg, and Gary. He is also
survived by many loving nieces,
nephews and friends. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be offered
at 10 a.m. this Friday, March 15, at
St. Adalbert’s Church, Elmhurst,
followed by interment at St.
John Cemetery, Middle Village,
under the direction of Papavero
Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand
Ave., Maspeth.

Saturday, March 9, at the age
of 101. He was the husband of
the late Angela, loving father of
Joseph, father-in-law of Patricia,
cherished grandfather of Angela
and Peter, and great-grandfather
of Chase and Tyler. He was also a

GEORGE GRINDJAN of Glendale
died on Saturday, March 9, at
the age of 63. A native of Vrsac,
Yugoslavia, he was the beloved
husband of Felicia Boksan and
devoted father of George Grindjan
and Danny Grindjan. He is also
survived by two grandchildren.

Dominican Republic, she was
the beloved wife of Pablo Tejada,
devoted mother of Pablo Tejada,

Anthony Tejada, and dear sister
of Australia Cruz and Carmen

veteran who served during World
