The duo, a woman and man, entered the electronics store, located at 113-20 Liberty Ave., on Feb. 18 at about 5 p.m., according to authorities. While the woman distracted the store employee, her partner removed merchandise from the shelves and placed them into a bag. They then fled. Police describe the two suspects as a black woman with long hair wearing a brown jacket, and a black man wearing a black ski hat and black jacket. Though numerous RadioShack locations in Queens and throughout the U.S. are slated to close by the end of the month, the Richmond Hill store is not one of them. All calls are strictly confidential. 108th Precinct Long Island City, Maspeth, Sunnyside, Woodside Cops catch suspect in October club shooting in Long Island City Police have arrested one of two suspects wanted in a shooting outside a Long Island City club that left four bystanders injured last fall. The NYPD announced Friday morning it collared 23-year-old Traevon Robinson of Jamaica, who was charged with four counts of felony assault and three counts of reckless endangerment. Authorities said Robinson and an unidentified suspect were in front of Allure Club and Lounge, at 33- 02 Queens Blvd., about 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 19 when they both pulled out guns and started firing at each other. Four people were caught in the crossfire and taken to area hospitals for treatment. A 37-year-old man was struck once in the chest, and a 19-year-old woman, a 28-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were each hit once in the leg, authorities said. Following the shooting, police released surveillance video of one of the suspects, who was later identified as Robinson. Police are still looking for the second shooter but did not have a description of the suspect. 115th Precinct Corona, East Elmhurst, Elmhurst, Jackson Heights Collar suspect in Jackson Heights murder Police have arrested a man in the murder of a 25-year-old Jackson Heights resident who was stabbed to death just outside his apartment late last year. William Avila, 22, was apprehended at his East Elmhurst home on Friday, according to authorities, and charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the killing of Steven Shimabuku. Shimabuku was only steps from his home on 90th Street, near 35th Avenue, at about 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 19, when Avila allegedly stabbed him in the torso. The two were involved in an ongoing dispute, police said. He was able to make it back to his basement apartment, where his girlfriend called 911, according to the Daily News. Shimabuku was then taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Earlier this year, police released a video of a suspect in the stabbing, and in late February identified the man as Avila.
